Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Salary: $140,000–$200,000, depending on experience

The Opportunity

A leading and growing Canadian law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate/commercial lawyer with experience in M&A;, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, private equity, and/or complex commercial transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders on sophisticated legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support M&A; and corporate transactions.
- Advise on partnerships, joint ventures, investments, and strategic transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements and contracts.
- Analyze and manage legal and commercial risks associated with complex transactions.




- Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to senior leadership.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external counsel on transaction execution.
- Support corporate governance and general corporate matters as required.

What We're Looking For

- 4+ years of post-call experience in Canada.
- Solid corporate/commercial legal experience, particularly in M&A;, private equity, partnerships, joint ventures, or complex commercial contracts.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated agreements.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial judgment and a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
- Member in good standing with a Canadian provincial law society.
