You As a Senior Project Accountant Will

- You will be a lead member of the Project Accounting team responsible for the supervision of 2 or more direct reports.




- Responsible for facilitating the accurate and timely reporting of project cost and revenue.
- Support Operations with the timely development of the project CBS.
- Enter and maintain project data. (Budgets, forecasts, qty’s, cost codes, etc.)
- Produce variance reporting (Cost Accruals, Revenue Accruals, Budget Moves, Quantity Claiming, etc.)
- Understand key contractual information relating to assigned projects.
- Support Operations with the development of accurate and timely cash flow forecasts.
- Collaborate with Operations and the General Accounting team to ensure accuracy of Month End Reporting.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide project insights for decision-making.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Is this the right role for you?

- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in ICI Construction.
- Degree/Diploma in a related field. AACE accreditation(s) considered an asset (e.g. CCT, CPP).
- Demonstrated experience with a variety of contract types (Unit Rate, Cost-Reimbursable, T&M; (LEMS), Provisional Sums, Lump Sum).
- You have the ability to correctly identify financial situations and produce logical solutions to support a project team/business area.
- You possess strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Explorer Eclipse ERP and B2W Estimate/Track software is an asset
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- You demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, communication,



problem-solving, and analytical skills as well as a keen willingness to work independently and on-site at project locations.
- You demonstrate the ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and can manage tight deadlines.
- Must have or be eligible for CISD Secret Level Clearance.

The proposed salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000.
