Job Overview Reporting to the Senior Analyst, the Business Analyst Co‑op Student will assist in performing audits on process compliance within the various operations of the Utilities business unit. Location: Etobicoke, Head Office Duration: 12‑16 months Salary: $20‑$25 per hour What You'll Do Here Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and document current business processes Observe and report deviations from standard operating procedures Determine root causes for deviations and perform impact analyses Present safety and utilization metrics on weekly equipment calls to operations teams Create process documentation, including flowcharts and standard operating procedures Identify improvement opportunities; develop and present recommendations to management and monitor their implementation Determine what processes are being followed and if purported perks have been realized Work with management to develop solutions and provide value‑added services for Utilities’ agile operational setting What You Bring To The Team Must be able to work well within a team environment as well as individually Strong organizational and time‑management skills with an ability to multi‑task Ability to adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines Microsoft Office proficiency – robust Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills Experience working with SAP is preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the confidence and ability to work with all levels of staff and management within a large organization Experience in the utilities industry is an asset Methodical and thorough approach to diagnosing problems Equal Opportunity Statement We welcome all to apply including women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and persons of any sexual orientation or gender identity.
