About the Position The Edmonton EXPO Centre is seeking enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join the team. As a Banquet Server, you will ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience. You will execute set up and banquet service seamlessly for our guests while being attentive to their needs.

What You'll Do:
- Serve food and beverages to guests while offering professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at bar stations.

- Complete table and bar setup and preparation work, as well as attend service meetings prior to banquet functions.
- Familiarize yourself with the order of service, menu, and serving style for assigned functions.
- Maintain the cleanliness of your workstation, transparent tables, and return equipment to respective clearing stations.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the EXPO Centre, including reporting damaged equipment and hazards and maintaining familiarity with safety procedures.
- Perform cashier duties as required, including receiving cash floats and performing deposits and reconciliations.

What You'll Bring:
- Valid ProServe Certification.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction and develop excellent working relationships with other departments.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional heavy lifting required.
