Reports To: Director of Operations.Work Location and ScheduleWork must be conducted within SaskatchewanRegular schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.M. – 4:30 p.M.*On-site at CISWP office in Saskatoon; and at field collectionsites across SaskatchewanThis position will require travel within Saskatchewan for field data collection*Note: Data collection takes place during research participant’s scheduled work shifts which varies depending on the occupation or trade of the worker.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch Project ExecutionConduct qualitative and quantitative data collection, including fieldwork, surveys, interviews, and laboratory-based measurementsConduct data analysis and interpretationParticipate on field data collection teams through the facilitation of solid research processes and team strategiesCollaborate with the field research team and data analysis team to collect data reliably and effectivelyRecruit, prepare, and educate research participants on CISWP projects and initiativesCompile data and supporting materials for interim and final project reportsMentor Research Technicians as they develop their understanding of research equipment, processes, and knowledge translation activitiesField research readiness including working in varied industrial, healthcare, or construction environments and following site-specific safety requirements (PPE, WHMIS, site inductions)Adapt and problem-solve on-the-spot when weather or equipment behave unexpectedlyResearch Logistics and Resource DevelopmentCreate project schedules, timelines, and experimental designIdentify, prepare, calibrate,



and source equipment and suppliesHost equipment and tool training for colleagues and lead the development of equipment protocols and processes for CISWP research projectsHelp to ensure research equipment is properly maintained, stored, and ready for usePropose new research equipment and/or tools for continued advancement in CISWP research projectsKnowledge DisseminationPrepare technical content for Knowledge Transfer and Exchange (KTE) materials acting as a subject matter expertContribute to KTE through the development of scientific publications, webinars, presentations, and other scholarly worksTake part in health and safety events to demonstrate the impact of CISWP projects in the Canadian workforceContribute to research success stories related to CISWP projectsResearch Engagement and CollaborationFacilitate and attend meetings with industry, government, and/or academic partners as requiredSupport collaborative research initiatives and stakeholder engagement activitiesFacilitate group tours or presentations with industry, government, and/or academic partnersOther duties as assignedQualifications and ExperienceRequired QualificationsResearch-based Master's degree in Human Factors & Ergonomics, Kinesiology, Health Studies, Biomechanics, Occupational Health & Safety, Occupational Epidemiology,
