We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fitter with strong welding and fabrication skills. The successful candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding/fabrication drawings and accurately fit and assemble components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Fit, align, tack, and assemble metal components according to drawings and specifications.
- Perform MIG welding and other welding processes as required.
- Measure, cut, grind, drill, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, levels, and calipers.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, angles, and component placement before welding.
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy.
- Operate grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication equipment safely.




- Identify and correct fitting or fabrication issues.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Welder/Fitter, Fabricator, or Structural Welder.
- Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings is mandatory.
- Experience fitting and assembling metal components independently.
- Strong MIG welding skills; TIG/Stick welding experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of welding symbols, measurements, tolerances, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to use hand, power, and measuring tools.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team.
- Welding certification is an asset.
