and approved recyclablesEnsure all signage and displays are executed to operational plans and guidelinesManage inventory levels to meet customer demandsEncourage participation in community initiativesPerform other related duties as assignedWho You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of the Beer Store’s High Potential Program (HPP) strongly preferredExperienceA minimum of 3-5 years of operations experience in a Retail environmentSupervisory/Managerial operations experience in a Retail environment strongly preferredExperience with The Beer Store/Brewers Distributor Ltd. preferredPrevious experience working in a unionized environment would be a strong assetSkillsProven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reportsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skillsThe ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashionYou are expected to follow and enforce with staff all company and legislated health and safety procedures and must use all PPE providedThe availability to work diverse shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this roleMust be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more than 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of timeMust be able to stand on your feet for long, consecutive periodsProficiency with core Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDriveCompensationSalary range?
