The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates who fully meet all requirements and qualifications outlined in this posting and the official job description.The OpportunityThis is a strong fit for a Millwright who likes the pace and variety of manufacturing maintenance. The work is not confined to one machine, one type of repair, or one predictable routine. You will be supporting production equipment, facility‑related systems, preventative maintenance work, troubleshooting, rebuilds, repairs, and equipment improvements.The schedule is continental straight nights, 7:00 p.M. to 7:00 a.M. Training is completed on the day shift, typically Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.M. to 3:30 p.M., for approximately one month. Additional training time can be accommodated where needed.For someone who takes pride in keeping a plant running properly, this role offers meaningful daily impact. When equipment is operating well, production flows. When it is not, the maintenance team becomes essential. This position places you at the centre of that reliability.Position DescriptionInspect, repair, adjust, install, dismantle, and rebuild production and facility equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical issues, equipment failures, and recurring performance problemsComplete preventative maintenance and corrective repairs through the work order systemIdentify issues early and help reduce unplanned downtimeUse machine tools and maintenance equipment such as lathes, drills, grinders, saws, hand tools, and related shop equipmentSupport equipment overhauls,



installations, and mechanical improvementsMaintain a clean, organized, and secure maintenance work areaWork with others across maintenance and production to resolve issues efficientlyTake on additional maintenance‑related duties as requiredExperienceRelevant industrial maintenance experienceAt least 5 years of hands‑on machinery repair and maintenance experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environmentPractical experience with mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical troubleshootingStrong working knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practicesExperience working with computerized or structured work order systemsPLC knowledge, considered an assetPrevious experience leading a task, repair, shutdown activity, or small project, considered valuableQualificationsA valid Red Seal Millwright licenceStrong troubleshooting skills and sound mechanical judgmentThe ability to work well under pressure, especially when equipment downtime affects productionA reliable, safety‑minded, team‑oriented approachThe ability to follow direction while also taking ownership of assigned workGood communication skills when working with maintenance, production, and leadershipA ticketed skilled trades background beyond Millwright, considered an assetEducationRed Seal Millwright licence requiredRelated technical or trades training considered an assetAdditional InformationJob ID: 10580Job Type: On‑Site, Permanent, Full‑TimeIndustries: ManufacturingJob Categories: Skilled TradesManages Others: NoRequired Travel: NoRelocation Assistance: No#J-18808-Ljbffr
