On-Call Junior Kindergarten Teachers

On-call Junior Kindergarten Teachers provide substitute coverage when regular program staff are absent. Responsibilities may include: Providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment Following established classroom routines, plans, and activities Supporting play-based and developmentally appropriate learning experiences Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Supporting students with transitions, outdoor play, meals, and daily routines Maintaining appropriate supervision and classroom expectations Supporting the Christian mission, vision, and values of Delta Christian School Qualifications

Successful candidates must: Hold a current Early Childhood Educator (ECE)



licence in British Columbia Have experience working with young children in a preschool, childcare, school, or similar setting Demonstrate warmth, patience, flexibility, and solid interpersonal skills Work collaboratively as part of a team Be committed to the Christian faith and actively participate in a Christian church community Support the mission, vision, and Christian educational philosophy of Delta Christian School Be available for occasional work, sometimes on short notice A satisfactory criminal record check will be required as a condition of employment.
