Applications received after this deadline will not be accepted.The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has openings for permanent part-time Bartenders at the Dresden Arena in the Parks, Recreation and Facilities division.Job descriptionThe Bartender ensures the renters are compliant with the requirements of the AGCO, facility rental agreement, Fire Code, and monitors alcohol consumption.Essential responsibilitiesDemonstrate Chatham-Kent’s core values and competenciesServes alcohol in accordance to the Smart Serve responsibility guidelines and municipal alcohol risk management policyProvides good customer service to a wide range of customers and usersResponsible for opening and closing of the facilityMaintains and restocks supplies in the washroom facilities and ensures all the garbage has been removed from the facility and deposited in the correct location at the end of the rentalEnsures alcohol is removed from the facility at the end of the nightResponsible to record and report any operational concerns, vandalism, incidents and/or injuriesResponsible for the security of the building throughout the duration of the eventRepresents the Municipality in a professional, courteous and respectful manner when dealing with the publicPerforms other duties as assignedEssential qualificationsBecause of the responsibilities of this position, applicants must be over 18 years of age to serveSecondary School Diploma or equivalent education (e.G. GED certificate)Experience bartending in a business environment preferred,
