We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Controller in managing the financial operations of a manufacturing plant. This role plays a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, cost analysis, and strengthening financial processes, systems, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end close
• Analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, variances, efficiencies)
• Monitor job costing and investigate cost variances
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions
• Manage inventory analysis, cycle counts, and provisions
• Maintain fixed assets, CAPEX, accruals, prepaid expenses, and payroll entries
• Prepare financial reports, consolidation packages, and management analysis
• Handle sales tax reporting and audit support
• Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA an asset)
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and month-end close
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience
• Bilingual ( divisions outside Quebec)
