Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and repair vehicles mechanical issues
- Perform regular maintenance, brakes, suspension and alignments etc.
- Identify, resolve electrical, media system malfunctions
- Perform engine, transmission repairs
- Documenting well written diagnosis, cause, remedy stories
- Maintaining a clean workspace environment according to industry standards and safety guidelines
- Keeping logbook documented for warranty repairs
- Diesel experience considered an asset but not required
Requirements:
- Minimum 1year journeyperson/red seal certification (out of province, cvip certification is an asset but not required)
- Solid understanding of automotive operating systems - experience with CDK is an asset
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid Alberta drivers license and clean record
