Our client is a specialized manufacturing organization focused on the precise assembly and production of small components. They are looking for someone who takes pride in careful, accurate work and enjoys working with their hands in a detail-focused environment.

This opportunity is initially being offered as a temporary assignment of approximately 3-months with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. The Assembly/Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for micro-assembly, soldering, measuring, adhesive curing, troubleshooting, and inventory tracking.

This role would be well suited to someone with previous micro-assembly or manufacturing experience who has a keen eye for detail and takes a patient, methodical approach to their work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

- Assemble a variety of small components,



with a strong focus on micro-assembly.
- Complete soldering tasks as required throughout the assembly process.
- Carefully measure materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Apply and cure adhesives according to project requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise during production.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for materials and components.
- Follow established processes to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and to the required standards.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant technical training or education would be considered an asset.

Qualifications:

- Successfully pass a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) criminal record check.
- Be comfortable standing or walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in hands-on work.

Experience:

- Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in micro-assembly, manufacturing, or a closely related workplace.
- Have previous soldering experience.

Skills:

- Demonstrate patience and a meticulous approach to detailed work.
- Have a strong eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.




- Show a genuine willingness and enthusiasm to learn new processes and techniques.
- Bring a positive and enthusiastic approach to the workplace.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Base Salary: $18.00-19.00/hr
- Hourly compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
- This position offers the potential to transition from a temporary assignment into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Work Hours:

- Monday to Friday.
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Additional Notes:

- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
