Company Overview

Prep Academy Tutors provides private in-home tutoring. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and compensation is higher than the industry average. We are currently hiring for in person evening/weekend elementary tutors (K-6).

Job Summary

- Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge based on the Manitoba curriculum.
- Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material.
- Provide remedial and enrichment support for students.
- Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.

Qualifications and Skills We are looking for teachers or teacher candidates who can meet the following criteria:




- Committed to providing excellent customer service
- Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching
- Enjoy working with students & families
- Outstanding communication skills

A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:
- You hold a registration in good standing with the Manitoba Teacher's Society
- You are qualified to teach in a Canadian Province/Territory outside of Manitoba
- You are qualified to teach in the United States
- You are a current teacher candidate; pursuing a Bachelor of Education
- You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College
- You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited Canadian University or College

Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
