Role Description The Account Assistant / Finance Assistant role is a part-time, remote position supporting the company’s financial and administrative activities. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with accounting records, preparing and verifying invoices, monitoring payments, and helping maintain accurate financial documentation. The person in this role will support basic financial analysis, help reconcile accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear and timely communication regarding financial matters.
Additional responsibilities may involve organizing digital files, preparing simple financial reports, and following established procedures to uphold compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to support financial analysis and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess Invoicing and Accounting skills to handle billing, payment tracking,
and accurate record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to assist with basic reporting and understanding of financial processes.
- Candidates should possess transparent and professional Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or administration, preferably in logistics or transport, is beneficial.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or invoicing software is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
- Completed or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred.
