Accountant / Assistant Auditor – Caledon An established accounting practice in Caledon has an opportunity available for an Accountant / Assistant Auditor to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients and who already has experience within an accounting practice workplace.
The successful candidate will work with client accounts, financial statements, and taxation matters for both companies and individuals. Previous audit experience will be highly advantageous.
Role: Accountant / Assistant Auditor
Location: Caledon, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary: R20 000 - R25 000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
What the role involves:
- Preparing financial statements
- Handling tax-related work for companies and individuals
- Working with client bookkeeping and accounting records
- Assisting with audit-related duties where applicable
- Supporting clients with professional and accurate financial administration
Minimum requirements:
- Previous experience working at an accounting or auditing practice
- Experience with financial statements and taxation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Audit experience will be an added advantage
- Relevant qualification will be beneficial
