Toronto Metropolitan University is reshaping the downtown core of Toronto with three new buildings: the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens, the Toronto Metropolitan University Image Centre in the heart of campus, and a Student Learning Centre on Yonge Street. In addition,



currently in progress is the development of a new multipurpose building, the Church Street development (CSD). This new building will be located just north of Dundas on Church Street and will be home to four academic health services programs, Toronto Met.

Qualifications

Enrolled in: 4th year of Ryerson Undergraduate Program. Overall academic performance at B+ (3.3 GPA) or above.

Must have completed course with B+ (3.3 GPA) or above grade level.

Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).

Relevant Experience

This is not a requirment, but it is strongly preferred that the position candidate have completed Intermediate Financial Accounting I (i.e., AFA300 or the equivalent course at another university) with a grade of B+ or higher. If this criterion is not met, it is strongly preferred that the position candidiate have experience in and/or knowledge of financial accounting. A CPA designation or working towards it is preferred.

September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 Academic Assistants Undergrad - $39.57 per hour

September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027
