SUMMARY

NDY Contracting is seeking a motivated Apprentice / Junior Carpenter to support site operations while developing the technical, operational and leadership capabilities required to progress into a Leading Hand position.

This role is suited to an individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to develop beyond hands-on carpentry into a future site-leadership role. Working under the direction of a Leading Hand, Foreman or Superintendent, the Apprentice / Junior Carpenter completes assigned carpentry work while progressively gaining experience in layout, quality assurance, planning, logistics and site coordination.

Responsibilities will be assigned according to the employee’s training, demonstrated competence and level of supervision required. While a third- or fourth-year apprentice or recently qualified carpenter may be ideally suited, we are open to individuals at an earlier stage of professional development who demonstrate strong initiative, dependability and a genuine desire to accept increasing responsibility.
