We are seeking a Art Instructor to inspire creativity and foster artistic growth among learners of all ages. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic art lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring an engaging learning experience
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages experimentation, self-expression, and artistic exploration
- Provide constructive feedback and personalized instruction to help students improve their techniques and confidence
- Organize and supervise art projects, exhibitions, or showcases that highlight student work and celebrate their achievements
- Assist with classroom setup, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a safe, organized space for all participants
- Incorporate various artistic styles and mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, or mixed media into lesson plans
- Support students’ developmental needs by integrating early childhood education principles when working with young children
Requirements
- Visual art Portfolio or some example of artwork.
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring art to children or young learners
- Strong classroom experience with the ability to manage groups effectively and foster a positive learning environment
- Knowledge of different art techniques, materials, and creative processes suitable for diverse age ranges
- Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings is highly desirable
- Ability to communicate clearly and motivate students of varying skill levels
- Basic understanding of early childhood education principles to support young learners’ development
- Additional skills such as cooking or other creative activities are a plus but not required
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
