Saint Marys

At All‑Equip and Platinum Trailers, you’ll work in a genuinely mixed environment — production runs, custom one‑offs, prototype builds — where the work is varied, the standards are high, and your full range of skills gets used. Full‑Time, Fully On‑site, Monday to Friday, day shift depending on production needs. This is hands‑on assembly work in a busy manufacturing setting.

This is a hourly position paying $22-$34/hr depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including Extended Health Care, Dental, and RRSP contributions. Overtime is available for those who want it. All‑Equip is a family-owned manufacturer with a genuine entrepreneurial spirit: if it moves, hauls, or solves a problem in the transportation sector, we’ll find a way to build it.

Founded in 2011, we’ve grown into a recognized leader in both trailer manufacturing and heavy equipment repair and service, and it’s that repair experience that gives us a real edge. We’ve seen what fails in the field, what holds up under pressure, and what the competition consistently gets wrong. As a Welder/Fitter at All‑Equip, you’ll work across both production and custom fabrication — one day building repeat‑run trailer components, the next fitting up a one‑off prototype or tackling a custom order that hasn’t been built before.

In a typical week, you’ll move between production welding, custom fit‑up and fabrication, and hands‑on problem‑solving with our engineering and fabrication teams. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches for both production builds and custom projects.

Perform production welding on repeat‑run trailer components while maintaining consistent quality and efficiency.

Support custom fabrication and prototyping by building one‑off parts, test assemblies, and new design concepts. Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to solve fit‑up challenges and refine prototype designs. Select appropriate welding processes (MIG/TIG) and parameters based on material type, thickness, and project requirements.

Operate fabrication equipment including saws, torches, grinders, hoists, and welding machines. Inspect welds and assemblies against internal quality standards and customer specifications. Full‑time, year‑round work, Monday to Friday (Days).

Extended Health

Care and Dental benefits. Bi‑weekly direct deposit. Overtime available for those who want it. Whether your goal is to take on more complex custom and prototype work, step into a lead hand role, or move toward fabrication supervision, we want to know where you want to go — and we’ll help you get there. 3–5+ years of welding and fitting experience in a fabrication, trailer, or heavy‑equipment environment. ~ Proficiency in aluminum and steel welding — MIG required, TIG a strong asset. ~ Strong fitting skills: able to read drawings, lay out parts, check tolerances, and build accurate assemblies. ~ Experience in both production and custom fabrication settings. ~ Solid understanding of weld quality standards, distortion control, and proper heat management. ~ Genuine pride in the quality of your work.

Completion of a welding apprenticeship or equivalent trade certification required. Please advise our office if workplace accommodations are required. #
