Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. This position supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including supervising team members, coordinating shifts, and ensuring high standards of food quality and service. The role involves managing opening and closing procedures, monitoring inventory, and supporting ordering and waste control.

The Assistant Restaurant

Manager helps maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, assists with training new staff, and addresses guest concerns to ensure a positive customer experience. This role also supports basic administrative tasks such as cash handling, reporting,



and following company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Experience in restaurant or retail leadership, including supervising teams, coordinating schedules, and supporting performance management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a welcoming, respectful environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, cleanliness standards, and basic health and safety regulations in a quick-service or hospitality setting.
- Competence in cash handling, basic point-of-sale operations, and simple reporting or administrative tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, prioritize tasks, and remain calm and organized during busy periods.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train, coach, and support diverse team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
- Previous experience in pizza or quick-service restaurants is an asset; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
