Role Description Associates at MOVATI Athletic play a key role in delivering an outstanding member experience. This full-time, on-site position involves greeting members and guests, answering questions about services and programs, and providing friendly, informed support throughout the club. Associates may assist with membership inquiries, class registrations, basic facility tours, and ensuring common areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming.
The role includes handling point-of-sale transactions, promoting club offerings, and collaborating with team members to maintain high service standards.
Associates are expected to model MOVATI’s wellness-focused culture by providing respectful, inclusive, and professional interactions with all members and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Customer service and hospitality skills, including the ability to greet members warmly, respond to inquiries, and resolve basic issues in a skilled manner.
- Communication skills, with clear spoken English, active listening, and the ability to share information accurately and courteously.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, maintain clean and orderly spaces, and support daily club operations.
- Sales and membership support skills, such as comfort discussing club services, processing transactions, and assisting with sign-ups and renewals.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, including reliability, flexibility with shifts, and willingness to support colleagues across different departments.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale proficiency for scheduling, data entry, and payment processing.
- Demonstrated interest in health, fitness, or wellness; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or fitness environments is an asset.
- Availability for a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to stand and move around the club for extended periods.
