As an Autonomous Systems Technician, you will be the hands-on engine of our UAV Department. Working directly under the Operations Supervisor, this execution-focused role is perfect for a precise, detail-oriented builder who loves working with cutting-edge robotics hardware, electronics, and mechanical assemblies. There are no corporate management duties here—your focus is entirely on building, testing, and troubleshooting high-performance UxVs.

What You Will Do

- Hands-on Assembly: Perform precision soldering, wiring, mechanical builds, quality inspections, and basic machine shop work.
- Firmware/Product Testing: Execute bench testing, hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Technical Execution: Work directly with specialized hardware, including unmanned systems (UAV/UGV), firearms, and related defense components.
- Field & Flight Testing: Assist with live, tactical field testing of UAV (aerial) and UGV (ground) platforms to ensure operational readiness.
- Quality Control & Diagnostics: Run rigorous pre-delivery inspection protocols.
- Live Demonstrations, Conferences & Training: Lead high-stakes tactical field demonstrations for law enforcement and military clients, ensure mission-readiness of showcase gear,



and represent the technical capabilities of our autonomous fleet at domestic and international industry conferences. Train clients on UAV operation, repair and maintenance as well as on sight UAV servicing.

Requirements

- Education: Technical Diploma (DEC/DEP) in Electronics, Electromechanics, Aerospace Technology, Robotics, or equivalent hands-on trade experience.
- Technical Aptitude: Proven ability to read mechanical and wiring diagrams, navigate electronic schematics, and use standard production tools (multimeters, soldering irons, small hand tools).
- Security: Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident (5 yrs+) and able to pass a mandatory background check and obtain Canadian security clearance.
- Environment: Must be comfortable working around firearms, law enforcement and military personnel.
- Language: Fluent in English/functional French skills (bilingualism preferred).
- Soft Skills: Autonomous and self-motivated, adaptable to evolving UAV Department.

Top Candidates Will Also Have (Assets)

- Possession of a valid PAL (Firearm permit).
- Proven experience operating, building, or modifying drone/robot tech.
- Strong multi-disciplinary trade skills (machining, prototyping, advanced electronics).
