Monte Clark Gallery is looking for a personable and reliable bartender/server to assist with exhibition openings and special events.
This is a casual position, typically one event per month, with openings generally taking place on weekday or Saturday afternoons and evenings. The role includes serving wine, beer and other beverages, welcoming guests, keeping the bar area organized, and helping create a warm and enjoyable experience for visitors.
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident with people, and comfortable working in a busy social environment. An interest in contemporary art and culture is a plus, but not required.
Requirements:
- Previous serving or bartending experience preferred
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Personable, professional, and dependable
- Valid liquor-service qualifications and Serving It Right (SIR) certification
- Availability for occasional Saturday events
A fun, flexible role in a contemporary art gallery environment. Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
