Contribute to the BC Teachers' Federation as a member of the WEX Program Guide Revision Team. This role is ideal for career educators eager to impact and develop the two-credit WEX program. The Ministry of Education and Child Care is forming a team of four BCTF career education members.

Each participant will advise on crafting a new WEX program guide, which aims to support students through versatile two-credit work experience options. Your insights will address barriers to participation from diverse learners, including those with disabilities, enhancing accessibility in career exploration. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate to develop language for the WEX program guide
- Advise on aligning Learning Standards for two-credit formats
- Recommend consistent duration approaches for placements
- Create real-world examples for sector-specific codes
- Participate in meetings both virtually and in-person

Requirements:

- Active BCTF membership status
- Familiarity with BC curriculum and WEX 12
- Recent teaching experience in Career-Life programs
- Ability to work in a hybrid model
- Commitment to diverse representation
