A Behavioral Technician is responsible for providing direct behavioral therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral disorders. They work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. We do offer paid training.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients
- Assist with the development of current BIPs as needed
- Communicate with the BCBA and other team members regarding client progress and any concerns
- Attend team meetings and training sessions as required Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to collect and analyze data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and receive feedback
