Saralikitaaq is hiring an Educator on a 12-month contract to support Indigenous children through tailored educational programming and individual casework.

Candidates should have a background in education or behavior management, strong organizational skills, and a passion for community service. The role entails engaging with families and providing holistic support to children at risk. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and facilitate child and youth programming activities
- Support intervention in crises and document responses




- Maintain individualized care for a caseload of children
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess needs
- Promote programming to families and support their participation

Requirements:

- Educational background in psychology or education
- Mandatory bilingualism in English and French
- Understanding of Indigenous historical and cultural contexts
- Relevant experience in Indigenous communities is preferable
- Strong listening skills and teamwork abilities
