About the Role

Nucleus is seeking Board candidates who can contribute strategic insight, sound oversight, and specialized expertise in areas critical to its future sustainability and growth. Responsibilities

Leverage your diverse background, experience, and expertise in new and exciting ways by contributing to Nucleus’ ongoing growth and development.

We are seeking a volunteer Board Member with 3-5 years of prior Board experience working on a not-for-profit governing Board and with governance expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- Financial / Accounting: A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required, with demonstrated senior-level experience in financial oversight,



financial reporting, audit, risk management, budgeting, or governance, ideally within the non-profit, healthcare, or broader public sector.
- Legal: Experience or expertise in legal frameworks, regulatory compliance, governance, or risk management relevant to the non-profit or healthcare sectors.
- Digital: Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives, IT systems implementation, cybersecurity and data governance, or the development and use of data-driven strategies to support organizational decision-making.
- Government Relations: Experience engaging with government stakeholders, influencing or contributing to public policy, navigating government funding or regulatory environments, or conducting policy analysis.
