Eggspectation is looking for a reliable and hardworking Breakfast Cook to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and maintains a clean and organized workstation.
Availability for early morning and day shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Read and follow recipes, prep sheets, and kitchen instructions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized station using a "clean as you go" approach.
- Complete side duties efficiently throughout the shift.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle sudden increases in volume.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail.
- Coachable, quick learner, and team-oriented.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to downtown Toronto for early morning shifts, including weekends.
