A strong technical SAME and Scrum Master is needed to engage with Compliance and Sales and Trading Risk, to expand Trade Surveillance Requirements. This candidate will act as a Scrum Master and Subject Matter expert on project, manage the agile ceremonies, agile best practices, delivery of various projects. Extensive understanding of Agile methodology and strong client stakeholder skills will be paired with knowledge of institutional trading and deep technical skills in order to successfully execute this work.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the business to help translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional, testable specifications
Act as a scrum master to run the agile ceremonies in the squad, establish agile best practices
Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternate solutions and project strategies and engage in negotiations
Work as a liaison between business unit and delivery team in all phases of development from product definition to deployment
Act as SME to business working with them on system and data questions
Understand and articulate the technology vision and strategy,
ensure that technology solution is successfully aligned with the business goals and priorities
Define and implement operational processes
Establish high, mid and micro level plans, and estimates for project teams
Oversee BDD validation that can be used to streamline QA and UAT processes
Maintain a strong understanding of industry and enterprise-wide trends
Skills Required
Robust financial product experience preferred including commodities and futures
Strong SQL and Data Analysis knowledge is a must; Knowledge of Java, Scala or Python is preferred
Extensive understanding of Agile SDLC concepts
At least 5- 7 years of experience with software development projects
Relevant and substantial work experience with business requirements definition and management(end to end), structured analysis, process design, and use case definition
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Effective collaborator across a variety of IT and Business groups, regions, roles and levels
