The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated, organized and resourceful Business Development Coordinator to support MetricAid’s Director of Business Development and the broader sales team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who wants meaningful exposure to business development, healthcare technology and a growing company.

This person will help keep sales activity moving: researching prospects, completing thoughtful outreach, preparing demos and sales materials, coordinating meetings, maintaining accurate CRM records and following up on opportunities. The role begins with strong team support and execution, with the opportunity to grow into independently conducting discovery calls, product demonstrations and early-stage sales conversations.

What You’ll DoProspecting and outreach

- Research healthcare organizations, departments, physician leaders, administrators and other prospective contacts across priority markets.
- Complete consistent, thoughtful outbound outreach by email, phone, LinkedIn and other approved channels.
- Support inbound lead follow-up and ensure new inquiries receive a timely, helpful response.
- Identify referral opportunities, industry connections, events and potential partnership pathways.
- Personalize outreach using relevant information about each organization, department and scheduling environment.

Sales coordination and team support

- Provide day-to-day support to the Director of Business Development and sales team, helping move priorities and opportunities forward.
- Coordinate discovery calls, demonstrations and follow-up meetings across internal and external participants.
- Prepare meeting briefs, prospect background information, agendas, notes and action-item summaries.
- Draft and organize follow-up emails, proposals, presentations, pricing materials and other sales collateral.
- Track deadlines and next steps,

proactively flagging items that require attention.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Client Services, Product and other internal teams when sales opportunities require additional information or support.

Demo preparation and sales enablement

- Prepare tailored demo environments and supporting materials based on a prospect’s department, challenges and scheduling needs.
- Confirm demo details, participant information and technical requirements in advance.
- Support live demos by capturing questions, documenting follow-up items and coordinating next steps.
- Develop strong knowledge of MetricAid’s platform, service levels, value proposition and client outcomes.
- Progress toward independently leading discovery calls and product demonstrations as knowledge and confidence develop.

CRM and pipeline management

- Maintain complete, accurate and current records in Pipedrive, including contacts, organizations, activities, notes and next steps.
- Use available systems and resources efficiently to find contact information, send and track outreach and manage follow-up.
- Support pipeline reporting and help monitor outreach activity, meetings booked, referrals, conversions and other sales measures.
- Help keep the sales pipeline clean, organized and actionable.

What We’re Looking For

- One to three years of experience in sales support, business development, customer service, marketing, administration or a related role; strong recent graduates will also be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate warmly, clearly and professionally.
- Strong organization, follow-through and attention to detail.
- Confidence in completing outreach and engaging with new people by email, phone and video.
- A proactive, resourceful approach—you look for answers, use the tools available and keep work moving without needing every step assigned.
- Comfort learning software and working with CRM, presentation and productivity tools.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Curiosity,

good judgment and a genuine interest in learning about healthcare, technology and consultative sales.

Assets

- Experience with Pipedrive or another CRM.
- Experience with prospecting, lead generation, sales outreach or appointment setting.
- Experience preparing or delivering software demonstrations.
- Exposure to healthcare, health technology, SaaS or B2B sales.
- French-language skills.

What Success Looks Like

- Sales activities, contacts and next steps are accurate, current and easy for the team to act on.
- Prospects receive timely, thoughtful and consistent communication.
- The Director of Business Development and sales team have dependable support across outreach, preparation, follow-up and reporting.
- Qualified meetings, referral opportunities and meaningful sales conversations increase over time.
- Demo environments and sales materials are accurate, relevant and ready in advance.
- The coordinator steadily develops the knowledge and confidence to take ownership of discovery calls, demos and smaller opportunities.

Growth Path This role is designed to grow. As the successful candidate builds product knowledge, sales capability and an understanding of our clients, they will have the opportunity to take on greater ownership of prospect relationships, lead discovery calls and demonstrations, and progress toward a Business Development Representative or Account Executive position.

Compensation The anticipated salary range is $45,000–$50,000 CAD annually, depending on experience, plus MetricAid’s applicable employee benefits. A modest performance incentive may be considered for qualified meetings, referrals or sales contribution, with measures established in advance.
