- Must have experience working with teenage youth
- Must be versatile and willing to learn
- Must have First Aid and CPR-C certificate or be willing to obtain one
- Have knowledge with Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s Licence
- Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture
- Must pass a Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check

Duties
- Help identify career goals, barriers to employment and assist youth with job readiness skills, job search strategies, resume writing and interview preparation
- Maintain a safe home environment
- Prep and cook for 10 or more youth
- Maintain an accurate daily log on day-to-day business
- Plan fun and educational activities for teenage youth
- Support and guide residents, teaching responsibility as they transition into adulthood and independence
- Serve as a role model to youth and clients
- Maintain building security
- Ensure nightly and major house cleaning duties are complete, as well as regular everyday chores
- Attend staff meetings
- Provide support and advocacy to residents and clients of the YWCA
- Provide feedback to the Manager regarding clients and major issues plus incident reports
- Perform some administrative duties
- Attend to crises as they arise during non-office hours; contact the Manager in the event of a major crisis
- Prioritize work, attending to the most urgent needs first
- Work unsunprised
- Maintain confidentiality
- Any other duties as requested
