pre trip vehicle and arrive at farms in adequate time to perform duties prior to commencement of loading. Inform supervisor of any problems.
Ensure you have proper attire to perform duties. ie. rain gear, rubber boots etc.
Keep truck clean inside and out. Wash truck as needed, keeping interior neat and organized at all times.
Loading and fueling forklifts and truck prior to arrival at farm.
Ensure all paperwork is completed and correct to CFIA requirements and handed in at the completion of each load.
Drivers are to be outside truck to inspect every module loaded on trailer and ensure that they are closed and ready for transport.
Work together with other drivers.
Always travel slowly on farms ensuring a safe workplace.
Drivers REQUIRED to be consistent. Time off as schedule permits. No Heavy Lifting requirements.
Driver will be CLT trained paid for by S&S; Transport upon successful completion of the online course.
Hours range from 2-9 hours per night. New drivers pay is flat rate $300/night, 5 nights/week. Any Days off mid week are paid. Any scheduled weeks off are paid.
Drivers can apply for perks after 3 months. Pay increase to full driver wage ($340/night)after successful completion of 3 months probation and CLT training.
