We're The Vancouver Aesthetician (TVA). We manage skin for active lifestyles. Everything we know is concentrated on:

- Acne
- Aging
- Uneven skin (scars/pigmentation)
- Hair rejuvenation

Our clients are mostly biohackers, athletes, nutritionists and high-performance professionals who already invest seriously in their health and longevity. They don't come to us for a relaxing facial. They seek measurable outcomes, and we deliver them. As a result, we hold perfect five-star ratings across Google, Yelp, Apple and TripAdvisor.

We're looking for a team member who will help us build and shape where we're headed, and who takes pleasure in contributing to it.

–Your Nature–

We're looking for a very particular kind of certified aesthetician with hands-on experience.

- You're probably the person who reads ingredient lists for fun and looks things up because you genuinely want to understand them.
- You're very diligent, even when nobody is watching. A disorganized cupboard that hasn't been wiped genuinely bothers you.
- You're warm and calm, and able to lead clients successfully through uncomfortable situations.
- You're able to read the room.
- You're eager to take ownership, in a team-player way.
- You identify things that can be improved.
- You have excellent spoken English, and you're able to explain complex skin science simply and with clarity.
- Nice to have: you're into an active lifestyle yourself (cycling, fitness, longevity, etc.).

–Your Training–

Our training is serious, and we'd rather be upfront about it. Every new aesthetician completes our internal program, which typically takes about three weeks. Most applicants don't make it through, including experienced aestheticians from well-known clinics,



but we've also seen very junior practitioners pass with ease.

You'll start with our identity, mission and clinical standards before moving on to skin science, protocols and products. Finally, we'll practise sales and consultations, since the combination of all of these is imperative to your success.

–Your Duties–

- Hour-long first consultations and in-depth skin analyses
- Treatments using our protocols, including clinical facials, microneedling, chemical peels, laser, hydrodermabrasion, dermaplaning and scalp treatments
- Building home-care routines from our formulary
- Recommending treatment plans, packages and memberships
- Responding to clients through our platform
- Documenting progress thoroughly and following up because you actually care
- Opening and closing, stock management, and keeping your room spotless
- Taking part in occasional social media content

–What We Offer–

- Full-time: four 10-hour shifts a week, with three days off (with some flexibility)
- Part-time: flexible hours, with room to move to full time as your client base grows
- $20–$25 per hour base pay
- 10% commission on product sales
- 5% commission on packages (not on single treatments)
