Lead fitness programs for older adults as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist Instructor at REDS Recreation, Fredericton. Engage in group fitness and personal training while supporting chronic conditions. Join the REDS Recreation team in a part time, one-year term instructor role.
Your focus will be on developing and evaluating exercise programs for special populations, while also assisting in fitness assessments and consultations. You will instruct group fitness classes and mentor other instructors in both group and individual sessions. Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct progressive fitness programs for special populations
- Document and develop exercise prescription plans
- Mentor and evaluate instructors and volunteers
- Provide personal training for clients with health goals
- Lead drop-in group fitness classes
Requirements:
- CSEP-CEP certification required
- Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology or relevant field
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
- Experience teaching older adults and chronic conditions
- Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC)
