Foran Mining seeks a Community and Indigenous Relations Manager to cultivate strong ties with local Indigenous communities. This full-time position is based in Saskatoon and involves frequent travel to the McIlvenna Bay site and local areas. You will play a key role in enhancing community engagement strategies that support Foran's commitment to sustainability and Indigenous empowerment.
This position requires strong leadership in managing community consultations and fostering team-oriented relationships while overseeing community investment programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead MBO’s information and consultation programs
- Facilitate discussions with Indigenous land users
- Track and resolve community concerns effectively
- Prepare engagement reports and dashboards
- Develop cultural awareness training initiatives Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to engage with Indigenous communities
- Familiarity with the mining sector's legal obligations
