ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services is a community based, charitable, Not-For-Profit health organization providing supportive care to families in Huron and Perth Counties as well as the surrounding area.
We are currently seeking a Full Time Community Coordinator for our Nutrition Department.
SUMMARY:
The Program Coordinator, Community Support reports to the Community Support Services Supervisor and is responsible for the regular operational delivery of an assigned Community Program ensuring all related policies and procedures are followed. The Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing Hot and Frozen Meal Deliver Programs for diverse ONE CARE clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary college program in community and/or health services, health promotion or Nutrition Management would be preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience with nutrition or related community programming would be considered an asset.
- Experience working with a diverse senior population, volunteers and community partner.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to form effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to be adaptable, build relationships, focus on client’s needs and communicate effectively.
- Competence in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Publisher and Outlook.
- Ability to speak French would be considered an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable Vehicle.
