Location DeaseLake, BC Status FullTime Closing Date October1, 2026 Salary $80,000- $100,000 annually Position Summary TNDC is the business arm of the Tahltan Nation —Tahltan-owned, working in Tahltan Territory, on projects that will definenorthwest B.C. for the next fifty years.

ServiceCoordinator in Dease Lake is where that work meets the community day to day. This role serves as a primary local point of contactfor TNDC employees and community members in Dease Lake.

The Community

BusinessServices Coordinator provides directions on administrative matters, includingforms, payroll and expense inquiries, advantages, HR processes, and employee support,ensuring questions are documented, routed to the appropriate department, orOperations team member, and followed up in a timely and respectful manner.The role also supports two-way communication between TNDC and the community bygathering feedback, identifying concerns, preparing engagement reports, andhelping ensure TNDC operations align with Tahltan protocols. In addition, the coordinatorsupports cultural awareness and community engagement activities; liaises withElders, community leaders, and cultural advisors; supports local hiring,training, and community investment initiatives; assists with board meetingcoordination as an extension of the CEO's Executive Assistant; and provides supportto the TNDC Board Chair as required. We're looking for someone detail-oriented, proactive,and grounded in Tahltan culture and TNDC values.

Responsibilities: Business ServicesCoordinator - Actas a bridge between TNDC operations and Tahltan community protocols - Serveas a local point of contact for TNDC employees in the community, helping directquestions related to Finance, payroll, benefits, HR processes, forms, andemployee supports to the appropriate TNDC team member - Developand maintain relationships with community members, local groups, andstakeholders - SupportTNDC Communications Team, coordinating TNDC functions, activities andother in the territory - Preparereports documenting community interactions,



concerns, and engagementefforts - Gathercommunity feedback, concerns, and questions and relay them to management - Promotepositive relationships and trust between the organization and community - Coordinatecultural awareness and community engagement events - Liaisewith Elders, community leaders, and cultural advisors as needed - Coordinateboard meetings and act as an extension of the CEO's Executive Assistant - Supportlocal hiring, training, and community investment initiatives - Supportthe TNDC Board Chair as required - Supportemployees with navigating basic administrative questions, including where toaccess forms, who to contact for payroll or expense inquiries, and how tofollow up on HR-related matters Qualifications - Minimum2 years of experience in administrative or coordination roles - Strongunderstanding of Tahltan culture and values (Tahltan applicants) - Excellentcommunication, organizational, and interpersonal skills - Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Working Conditions - Based in DeaseLake - Occasional travelto TNDC sites or community events - Standard officehours with flexibility during peak operational periods Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing Provide guidance, training, andmentorship to team members, especially local Tahltan workers, by sharingtechnical skills, safety practices, and industry knowledge in a respectful andculturally aware manner.
