Component Technician- Morning

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Key Responsibilities

- Work with the Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order.
- Assemble trusses according to company procedures, SWOP, and Team Leader instructions.
- Inspect materials, equipment, and completed work regularly; report any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift, including end‑of‑day cleanup.
- Operate all tools, equipment, and machinery safely, correctly, and responsibly.




- Perform additional duties as required to support production and team operations.

Experience

- Woodworking or construction experience required.
- Ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure (foot‑inch‑sixteenth method).
- Experience reading and understanding work orders.

Knowledge & Abilities

- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Team‑oriented, cooperative, and supportive.
- Detail‑oriented, accurate, and committed to safe work practices.
- Able to prioritize tasks and work productively in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and participate actively in team huddles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
