Purpose of the position

Our Carré Windsor building, located in Montreal, is currently looking for a concierge. Are you known for being versatile, good with your hands, and highly organized? You are the person we need!

Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

- Clean and perform the tasks inherent in the maintenance of floors and carpets in common areas
- Ensuring security and compliance with building regulations
- Maintain the land, indoor parking, storage spaces
- Carry out site maintenance according to the frequency provided for this purpose or when required
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Maintain property spaces and systems
- Wash the windows at the main and secondary entrances
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Distribution of communications to tenants




- Removing snow and ice from sidewalks
- Clear snow or salt exterior entrances
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- Inform the immediate superior of the needs for materials and products for the maintenance and upkeep of the building
- Carry out minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, painting, changing lights, various installations, etc.)
- Knowledge of plumbing and electricity
- Knowledge of fire safety rules
- Knowledge of ventilation system
- Ensure the cleanliness of the building's entrances and common areas
- Perform service calls
- On evening and weekend calls
- Collaborate or perform any other tasks related to the maintenance service, as needed and at the request of the immediate superior

The ideal person has :

- Good organizational skills
- Good physical capacity
- Patience and empathy
- Versatility
- Experience in painting, plumbing and basic electricity
- Sense of autonomy developed, takes initiatives, organized, committed and creative
- Valuable priority management and adaptability
- Available on weekends, off work during the week

Required qualifications :

- Minimum relevant experience of 1 to 2 years
