Job Title: Junior Project Coordinator

Our head office is located in Cambridge, Ontario with most of the work being in KITCHENER GUELPH area.

Position Overview: The Junior Project coordinator will assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion and provide accurate cost estimations for various projects. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget, and helping to streamline operations. Some travel around south western Ont may be required.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY 3 monthposition with the opportunity to join the company on a full time basisYou will be working under another Project Coordinator and replacing this individual for 6 weeks , plus before and after .

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management:
- Assist in planning, executing, and closing construction projects.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that arise.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with the OHSA (Ontario)
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine accurate quantities and costs.
- Collaborate with senior estimators to review and refine estimates.
- Communication:
- Act as a liaison between clients, project teams,



and subcontractors.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, costs, and timelines.
- Address and resolve any client or team concerns promptly.
- Prepare reports for weekly status meetingsQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and estimating tools (e.g., RSMeans, Buildertrend).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Specifications:

- Drivers License with acceptable abstract required, with reliable transportation
- Willing to travel within south western Ontario
- Use of own vehicle or Company truck may be required
- Some in office . on site, and remote work will be required. Most work will be on site with some in office work required.
- SOME working knowledge of hands on construction, tool use, and renovations is a strong asset.

Pay: $26.00-$27.00 per hour
