Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Construction Helper to join our growing team. The Construction Helper will assist with wall panel installation, drywall, framing, and various residential and commercial renovation tasks. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is eager to learn and develop practical construction skills.

Responsibilities

- Assist with installation of acoustic, decorative, wood slat and other wall panels
- Assist with drywall, basic framing and wall preparation
- Measure, cut and prepare materials for installation
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Assist with general renovation and construction tasks
- Load, unload and organize tools and materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Learn new construction and installation techniques while working alongside experienced team members

Requirements

- Previous construction, carpentry or renovation experience is an asset but not required




- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of construction tools is an asset

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00–$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: Approximately 24 hours per week

Schedule:

- Variable hours and schedule based on project requirements
- Working days and hours may change from week to week
- Suitable for students or individuals looking for part-time work

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- Construction/carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
