Role Description The Contract Registered/Provisionally Registered Psychologist will provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis within scope of practice, and individual, couple, and family therapy. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake and psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, and maintaining clear, accurate clinical documentation. The psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in case consultations, and contribute to an inclusive,



trauma-informed, and culturally responsive environment.

Additional responsibilities may include supporting group programming, community outreach, and wellness initiatives aligned with the Centre’s mission.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in somatic approaches, with the ability to apply evidence-based and client-centered approaches in clinical practice.
- Demonstrated Counselling skills, including providing individual, couple, and family therapy across diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Competence in Psychological Assessment, including intake interviews, risk assessment, and formulation of treatment plans within scope of practice.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field, with current registration or provisional registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
- Experience working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, and emotional regulation challenges.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing career development, supervision or consultation, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
