Roctest is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting and financial operations across its businesses in Canada, France, and Switzerland. This is an opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys working directly with manufacturing operations, developing teams, and identifying opportunities to improve costs, systems, and business performance.

Reporting to the Division Finance Manager and General Manager, you will oversee financial reporting, planning, accounting operations, and internal controls. The role supports Roctest in Canada, Enomfra and Telemac in France, and Smartec in Switzerland.

What You’ll Do

- Lead accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare periodic financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and manage the monthly close process, including daily and weekly flash reporting.
- Oversee accounting, audit, and tax activities across multiple international locations.
- Develop and maintain standard production cost models, validate their accuracy, and analyze variances with recommended actions for management.
- Partner with operating teams on purchasing, inventory, costing, budgeting, and financial performance.
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts and support short and long term operational planning.
- Manage financial consolidation and foreign currency translation.
- Coordinate US GAAP and local statutory audits with external auditors.




- Establish and maintain internal accounting and operational controls over revenue, expenses, inventory, and other assets.
- Support accurate physical inventory and effective control of materials and assets within a manufacturing environment.
- Lead and develop the accounting team, promoting trust, productivity, and accountability.

What You’ll Bring

- Fluency in French and English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least seven years of manufacturing experience and at least five years of Controller experience.
- Global accounting experience and strong knowledge of financial reporting, planning, and internal controls.
- Experience with multiple ERP systems.
- Solid analytical, process management, and problem solving skills.
- The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and partner effectively with colleagues across departments and locations.
- A practical leadership style and the ability to motivate others, manage competing priorities, and drive improvements.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work extended hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing.
