Overview

We are seeking a proficient Cook to join our team and deliver an exceptional guest service experience. The ideal candidate must be hardworking, friendly, organized, and passionate about food and customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prepare flavorful meals.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· Kitchen operations such as kitchen opening, kitchen service preparation and food preparation

· Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and presentation

· Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines

· Prepare and cook menu meals or individual dishes and foods in compliance with established recipes and standards

· Monitor food stock levels

· Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, work surfaces, and serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices

· Ensure the kitchen area is kept in a well-organized manner

· Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock

· Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens and grills





· Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality service and a co-operative and friendly work environment

· And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Food Protected certification

· Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively

· Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in food quality and customer service
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the open hours

· Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and presentation · Prior experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service setting is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
