Swan and Company is looking for an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual/part-time basis.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in the food they prepare, works well as part of a team, and can be counted on to show up ready to work.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous restaurant cooking experience required
- Valid Food Handler Certification
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Able to communicate well and take direction
- Organized, clean and attentive to food safety
- Able to work efficiently during busy service
- Takes pride in quality, consistency and presentation
- Willing to help wherever needed — we work as a team
- Able to work independently when required
- Evening and weekend availability
The position:
- Casual/part-time
- Starting wage: $21/hour
- Opportunity to work alongside and learn from our Red Seal certified Head Chef
- Swan and Company is currently open Thursday through Sunday, although some shifts may fall outside regular restaurant hours for prep, events or other operational needs
- After appropriate training and orientation, there will be times when the successful candidate is expected to work independently in the kitchen
- Potential for additional hours as needed
