Become the driving force behind workplace safety as a Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator.
Your role is to ensure that safety is prioritized across all construction sites. This HSE Coordinator position requires someone proactive and organized, working closely with the HSE Supervisor to implement safety best practices. You will be responsible for leading safety meetings, inspecting job sites, and conducting safety orientations to promote protected work behaviors. Your efforts will significantly impact the overall safety culture within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead health and safety committee initiatives at job sites
- Conduct thorough site inspections and monitor compliance
- Deliver essential safety training and toolbox talks
- Manage safety documentation and compliance reporting
- Develop and implement incident investigation processes Requirements:
- NCSO designation or equivalent certification
- Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety
- 2-5 years of experience within the construction environment
- Strong understanding of Ontario safety legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CPR/First Aid certified Contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork while advancing your career in construction.
