Reporting to the Community Education and Engagement Supervisor, this role demands expertise in Indigenous practices and cultural programming.

With a focus on the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation (ACFN), you’ll lead initiatives such as Family Trees and Cultural Plans. Collaborate with Member Nations, Elders, and community partners to incorporate Cree and Dene cultures into essential services for children and families. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop Family Trees promoting cultural heritage and reunification
- Oversee Cultural Plans reflecting individual and family needs
- Facilitate access to Elders, ceremonies,



and traditional learning
- Provide cultural guidance on local protocols and practices
- Design and deliver workshops in partnership with Member Nations

Requirements:

- Minimum two years in cultural programming or community support
- Knowledge of Cree and Dene cultures and languages
- Strong relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient organizational and facilitation skills
- Transparent Criminal Record and Child Intervention Record Checks required
