The World We Are Building

Heavy-duty transportation should be safer, more reliable, and more efficient.

Trailer builders should have partners who understand their challenges, solve problems, and keep their promises.

At KG Industries, we build specialized axle solutions that help make this possible. Our purpose is simple:

We Advance Specialty Transportation.

The Mission You Will Join

You will report to the Sales Operations Manager.

You will work closely with our customers, Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams.

You will make KGI easier to do business with. Customers will get answers. Orders will be accurate. Shipments will be communicated. Problems will not disappear between departments.

Your work will directly shape how customers experience KGI.

How We Work

We go above and beyond to do what is right for our partners.

We learn fast, act with precision, and finish what we start.

We put quality above convenience, welcome bold ideas, and take ownership of the result.

Read This Before You Apply

This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do.

It is not for someone who forwards a problem and considers it finished.

It is not for someone who moves quickly by cutting corners.

If an unanswered customer request bothers you, if getting every detail right gives you satisfaction, and if owning work through completion makes you think “HELL YEAH!”, keep reading.

If not, stop here.

The Role

Customer Support Specialist

You will be KGI’s front line.

You will listen to customers, understand what they need, find answers, and see each request through to resolution or to the right owner.

You will prepare routine quotations. You will turn purchase orders into accurate sales orders. You will manage parts inquiries. You will coordinate shipments. You will keep customer and order information accurate.

The standard is clear: right the first time, on time, with no loose ends.

By making KGI easy to do business with, you will help us advance specialty transportation, one accurate quotation, one correct order, and one kept promise at a time.

Six Things You Will Love to Do

1. Be the person customers can count on. Answer their questions. Understand what they need. Own the follow-through.
2. Turn customer requirements into accurate quotations. Get the details right. Provide clear information. Help move opportunities forward.
3. Convert purchase orders into correctly processed sales orders. Confirm every order the same business day. Enter it by the end of the following business day.
4. Solve spare-parts requests from beginning to end. Identify the correct parts. Prepare the quotation. Process the order. Coordinate fulfillment. Close the loop.
5. Keep shipments moving and customers informed. Coordinate carriers, documentation, export requirements, and tracking. Confirm every shipment on the day it leaves.
6. Make Sales Operations smarter and more reliable. Maintain trustworthy records and reporting. Improve workflows. Use automation, AI, and digital tools to reduce repetitive work and prevent errors.

You Are the High Achiever We Want to Work With If... · You are driven. You move quickly and finish what you start.

· You are detail-oriented. You notice inconsistencies others miss.

· You are thorough.

You do not sacrifice accuracy to clear your inbox.

· You are a problem-solver. You look for practical answers before escalating.

· You are accountable. You own the outcome, not just your portion of the task.

· You are customer-centric. You make it easy for people to get the help they need.

· You are reliable. People can trust your commitments.

· You are organized. Your tasks, records, and communication stay under control.

· You are resourceful. You find answers independently and involve others when necessary.

· You are adaptable. You stay effective when priorities and customer needs change.

· You are technology-forward. You adopt digital and AI tools when they make the work faster, smarter, or more accurate.

What You Bring

· Strong telephone customer-service skills.

· Clear written and spoken English.

· Experience preparing quotations or processing sales orders.

· Confidence working with ERP, CRM, and Microsoft 365 tools.

· Strong spreadsheet and data-management skills.

· The ability to research products and identify parts from descriptions or serial numbers.

· Experience coordinating carriers, shipping documents, tracking, or Canada–USA export paperwork.

· The judgment to know when to solve a problem yourself and when to bring in the right person.

If this sounds like work you would be proud to own, we want to hear from you.
