Join our deli team at Red Barn Vanalman! As a Deli Clerk, you’ll prepare and serve fresh, delicious sandwiches and other deli items, assist customers and keep the department clean, organized, and well-stocked. We are looking for both part-time and full-time candidates with daytime and evening availability.

Responsibilities:

- Stocking and Display: Arrange and replenish deli case displays, ensuring items are well-presented, labelled, and rotated.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and package sandwiches, pizza, salads, hot food, and more.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly assistance to customers, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the deli area clean, organized, safe, and well-stocked.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, rotate products, and communicate restocking needs.
- Compliance: Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards.

Daytime and evening availability required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards.
- Customer Service Skills: Approachable, courteous, energetic and willing to help customers.
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting.
- Team Player: Works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive work atmosphere.
